Kiel, Wisconsin, September 11, 2025 – HUI Medical Carts, a division of HUI Manufacturing, recently unveiled a newly developed 5,200 square foot addition to their 80,000 square foot manufacturing facility. The new addition will serve as a dedicated assembly area for surgical robotic systems and other complex integrated medical device carts.
When asked about the reason for the addition, HUI Manufacturing President Tim Jandrey advised “We manufacture custom medical carts, chassis, and systems for MedTech OEMs. Over the past five years, we’ve experienced a very consistent increase in demand from our customers to manufacture, finish, and assemble carts and systems that are much more advanced”
Jandrey also stated “The medical industry is leaning into more advanced systems, and it is our duty to continue meeting the evolving needs of our customers – without disruption”.
The new assembly space includes dedicated storage for parts and components, two turning stations, multiple large-format display workstations and three lanes for completed products. The space also includes a renewed training space and will be managed by a handful of veteran employees.
HUI Business Development Specialist Nick Hoffman stated, “As a contract manufacturer, we run small batch and full-scale production, so this addition will help us maintain high speed and quality on our existing lines, while redirecting complex work into a separate space that is setup to accommodate different build requirements.”
Hoffman also stated “We pride ourselves on our ability to support innovation in the medical device manufacturing industry. This newly created space is a big value add for our customers - it will help us lean into their future and support them as they continue to innovate points of care.”
